IDOM Innovations was established in 2019 by Chief Executive Officer Takayoshi Udagawa, formerly CEO of the IDOM Automotive Group. Through his experience within the Australian and Global Automotive Market, he saw many opportunities to make changes and develop new systems that would benefit the Automotive Industry as a whole, from this IDOM Innovations, was born.  With his team of industry experts from Australia and around the globe, IDOM Innovations has begun developing new solutions and technology for the Australian market.

Takayoshi Udagawa
Chief Executive Officer

Takayoshi Udagawa (Uda) joined Gulliver in 2003 as a graduate. After working with the Business Development Team and Direct Store Strategy Team, he was appointed as a company executive in 2016, the youngest in the company’s history. Uda moved to Australia to be a board director in 2015 and was appointed as CEO of Australian Operations in 2018.

Masaya Katsuta
Chief Strategy Officer

Masaya joined IDOM Inc. in 2009 as a graduate in a sales role. In 2013 Masaya launched the 'Presidents Strategy Office' and served as secretary and in 2016 moved to China where he was CEO of Chinese operations, opening 30 stores. In 2020 Masaya was transferred to the IDOM Overseas Division, moving to Australia in 2021 as CSO of IDOM Innovations. 

Joshua Emeny
Chief Operating Officer

After 15 years in the automotive and finance industries working with McMillan Shakespeare Limited and Cox Automotive Joshua joined IDOM Innovations in 2021. " I’m excited to be at the forefront of change in our industry by working with likeminded people who want to develop the new industry benchmarks using technology and best practice to create what I’d like to call the global benchmark in vehicle remarketing. "

Julian Fogarty
Chief Product Officer

Julian has a broad range of experience in business growth, digital enabled, transformation, technology and innovation. After many years in strategic executives roles for companies such as Downer and KPMG, Julian joined IDOM Innovations in 2020 as Chief Product Officer.

Daiki Yamanouchi
Corporate Services Manager

Daiki began his Automotive career as a salesperson for Gulliver, the largest used car operation in Japan. After 4 years he joined the IDOM Japan Business Development team in 2016. In 2018 he became the COO of IDOM's China operations and in 2020 moved to Australia to join the Innovation team.  

Terri Lightbown
General Manager Corporate Affairs

Terri joined the IDOM group in 2014 as a Sales and Marketing Manager. In 2015 Terri was appointed to corporate manager within the group focusing on special projects, business communications, and business growth. In 2019 Terri joined the Innovations team as General Manager of Corporate Affairs and Communication.
